By using the website, creating an account, or purchasing a course, consultation or product, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. What we provide
Double Loop Forensics offers online educational content — self-paced forensic-science courses (video lessons, slides and quizzes), and, where offered, expert consultations and physical products. The content is for education and general information only. It is not professional, legal or forensic advice for any specific case, and completing a course does not confer any professional certification or licence.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to enter a contract in your country. We may suspend accounts that breach these Terms or are used unlawfully.
4. Purchases and prices
Prices are shown on the website in euro (EUR) and, where applicable, include VAT. A purchase is a one-time payment granting access to the purchased course for your personal, non-commercial use. Payment is processed securely by our payment provider (Stripe); we do not store your card details.
5. Access and licence
On successful payment you receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access the purchased content for your own learning. You may not share your account, redistribute, resell, publicly perform, or reproduce the course materials, videos or text, in whole or in part, without our written permission.
6. Right of withdrawal & refunds
Courses are digital content supplied online. Your statutory right of withdrawal and our refund policy are set out on the Refunds & Withdrawal page, which forms part of these Terms.
7. Intellectual property
All content on Double Loop Forensics — text, video, graphics, logos and the fingerprint mark — is owned by Double Loop s. r. o. or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. Third-party images are used under licence or a free/open licence and are credited where required.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service: no attempting to bypass paywalls or access controls, no scraping or bulk downloading, no uploading unlawful content, and no activity that disrupts the service or infringes others' rights.
9. Consultations
Where consultations are offered, they provide general expert insight for education and are not case-specific forensic opinion, expert-witness testimony, or legal advice, and create no expert-client or lawyer-client relationship.
10. Availability & changes
We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, add or remove content and features, and may change these Terms; the current version is always posted here with its update date.
11. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Double Loop s. r. o. is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions taken in reliance on educational content. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights.
12. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the law of the Slovak Republic. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence in the EU continue to apply. Consumers may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
